Handmade Hummingbird houses. Featuring our signature basket weave woodburnt pattern on the lower half of this hummingbird house, the upper half has only two rings up top to show off the character of the cherry wood. Houses are made to withstand the elements when placed in a protected area and brought in each winter, but will age gracefully over the years. Each one will house a bird and two eggs. The chicks will return year after year to start their own families. They also make excellent Christmas Tree ornaments in the winter. Hummingbirds like bright colors when feeding, but prefer natural colors that blend in out of doors when nesting, so these turned wooden birdhouses with pyrographic designs are perfect! Each Hummingbird House is unique with different wood colorings, but the design will be like you see in the picture. These houses are approximately four inches high and two inches wide. While we cannot guarantee that a bird will take up residence in the home you purchase, we include an instruction sheet on care and hanging with all of the advise we have.
